Dauphin County Addictions Conference 2025

The International Service Center (ISC) was honored to take part in the 2025 Dauphin County Addictions Conference—an annual statewide event focused on advancing research, strategies, and collaboration in addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery.
ISC Representation and Engagement
Representatives Ivanna Mozil and Yasna Moradian attended on behalf of ISC, actively engaging in a wide range of plenary sessions, workshops, and community networking opportunities. Their participation strengthened ISC’s commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health challenges.
Conference Highlights
Held at Penn State Harrisburg, the two-day event brought together professionals and organizations from across Pennsylvania. Highlights included:
Day 1 – May 12, 2025
- Opening Remarks: Delivered by The Honorable Mike Pries, Dauphin County Commissioner and The Honorable George P. Hartwick III, Dauphin County Commissioner and Mrs. Kristin Varner, Director, Dauphin County Drug and Alcohol Service and Local Leader Mr. David M. Callejo Perez, EdD, Chancellor and Dean, Penn State Harrisburg, emphasizing unity and shared responsibility in addressing addiction.

Vendor Exhibition Participation
ISC also took part in the vendor exhibition, offering an opportunity to highlight our broad range of services, share experiences, and foster partnerships with organizations addressing similar challenges. The exhibit enabled valuable conversations around community needs, culturally competent care, and cross-sector collaboration.

Participation in this conference directly aligns with ISC’s mission to empower and advocate for vulnerable communities.
