On November 5, 2025, representatives of the International Service Center (ISC) and the Ukrainian community proudly participated in the annual Know Your World event at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

This international cultural showcase brought together representatives from 75 countries, each presenting their unique traditions, history, and cuisine. The event aimed to promote cultural understanding, international friendship, and global diversity within the Carlisle Barracks community.

Since one of the current International Fellows is from Ukraine, the ISC Ukrainian team was honored to assist in the preparation and presentation of Ukraine’s exhibit. The team created a vibrant display featuring national decorations, Ukrainian symbols, and a PowerPoint presentation highlighting Ukraine’s rich history, culture, and traditions. Visitors to the Ukrainian table were warmly welcomed with traditional homemade dishes and engaging conversations about Ukraine’s heritage.

The event drew more than one thousand attendees, including U.S. Army officers, international fellows, local residents, and special guests. The Ukrainian display received enthusiastic praise for its authenticity, creativity, and heartfelt presentation.

For Ukraine, participation in Know Your World carries profound meaning—especially during this challenging time of war. It provides an opportunity to share Ukraine’s story, showcase the strength and resilience of its people, and build connections with friends and allies who support Ukraine’s pursuit of peace and freedom.

The International Service Center is honored to have contributed to this celebration of diversity, friendship, and global understanding, making Know Your World 2025 a truly memorable and inspiring experience.
